Application Process

As a co-operative we rely heavily on member involvement for the many functions it takes to keep us operational. Each member is expected to contribute a minimum of two (2) hours of volunteer work per month towards the upkeep of the co-operative.

You have the freedom to choose how you will complete your obligations to the co-op. There are many committees and activities to choose from. We take this responsibility very seriously. Please keep this in mind when considering co-operative housing.

Ramer’s Wood Co-operative Homes Inc. is a Character Community. We recognize and promote the importance of good character. There are many rewards and benefits of co-operative living such as security of tenure, personal development and a greater sense of community.

All the information which is collected about your household is treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality.

We have a limited number of One, Two and Four Bedroom wheelchair accessible units.

Each completed application must be accompanied by a $25.00 application fee which is payable by cheque, certified cheque or money order. The co-operative does not accept cash.
